Encouragement of flag-raising ceremonies and other activities throughout Victoria on Australia Day.

Presentation of a special gift to the first child born in Victoria on Australia Day, and of a commemorative spoon to every other child born in Victoria on the day.

Presentation of sporting medallions for outstanding individual performances on Australia Day.
